Monica Lewinsky Partners with Reformation for Empowering Voting Campaign in Latest Workwear Collection

Renowned women’s clothing brand Reformation collaborates with activist and author Monica Lewinsky for their empowering “You’ve Got the Power” workwear campaign, unveiled in association with Vote.org. Lewinsky takes center stage, showcasing a range of workwear outfits, including a striking red two-piece set, leather trench coat, and cozy sweaters.

On the campaign’s landing page, Lewinsky emphasizes the significance of voting as a means of using one’s voice in democracy. The campaign aims to serve as a reminder to individuals that they possess the power to make a difference through voting, especially in this crucial election year. Recognizing the prevalent skepticism towards large institutions, the campaign partners with experts at Vote.org to amplify its impact.

In an interview with Elle Magazine, Lewinsky reveals her involvement in the campaign from its inception, initiated by Lauren Cohan, Reformation’s chief executive officer. Motivated by the growing frustration and apathy among voters, Lewinsky emphasizes the importance of mutual reminders to overcome obstacles and prioritize the act of voting.

Despite initial reservations about stepping in front of the camera, Lewinsky collaborated with photographer Zoey Grossman, and Reformation even enlisted a movement coach to support her during the campaign shoot.

Monica Lewinsky Advocates for Women’s Empowerment Through Seeking Assistance and Support

In an interview, Monica Lewinsky expressed her belief in empowering women by acknowledging areas where they may need assistance and being proactive in seeking that support. As an anti-bullying advocate in recent years, Lewinsky has actively participated in campaigns against bullying, leveraging her experiences as a 22-year-old White House intern in the 1990s when her affair with then-President Clinton became public.

This collaboration with Reformation for the “You’ve Got the Power” workwear campaign is not the first time the brand has championed voting advocacy. This project marks Reformation’s third consecutive election effort, reinforcing their commitment to encouraging civic engagement.

Vote.org CEO Andrea Hailey applauded the initiative, describing it as an “all hands on deck” moment for the future of democracy. She emphasized the importance of leaders and brands supporting the nonpartisan mission to ensure that every eligible American can register, vote, and have their voices heard. Hailey expressed gratitude to Reformation and Monica Lewinsky for utilizing their platforms to aid Vote.org’s efforts in breaking down barriers to the ballot box, especially in the critical 2024 election.
